Matt Skaret, City Administrator

Matt was raised in Bismarck, ND.  He received his BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2001.  From 2001-2004 Matt worked as a congressional aid in Washington, DC for a couple of Minnesota congressmen.  He returned to the Midwest and received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from University of South Dakota in 2006.  Matt has served as the City Manager in Madison, MN since October 2006.

His hobbies include bowling, running, reading, disc golf, fishing and other outdoor activities, including a “polar plunge” in January 2008.
